In June we were invited to take part in the filming of "Ade in Britain" at Cubley Hall, near Penistone.

The TV series follows Adrian Edmondson around Britain, as he samples local traditions and cuisine, which he prepares from the kitchen at the back of his tiny caravan.

Adrian watched us perform the dance on a beautiful summer's evening, with Cubley Hall's magnificent bandstand as backdrop. He then talked to us about the dance and its origins, while we tucked into the delicious traditional rhubarb pie he had prepared for us.
