On Saturday 8th January 2011, the Grenoside Sword dancers will be take their annual 'traipse' around Grenoside village, dancing at a number of spots.

This is back to our traditional format, after the extended traipse we did around the Wentworth area last year to celebrate the centenary of Cecil Sharp's visit in 1910.

The full itinerary is as follows:

• 10.30am Methodist Church, Norfolk Hill
• 11.15am Village Green, Main Street
• 1.15pm Top Side Farm
• 2.00pm Cow & Calf
• 3.00pm Hill Top Farm, Wheel Lane
• 4.00pm Old Red Lion ('Top' Red), Main Street
